More Panic, Confusion, Discombobulation, Disorientation

...Speaking of OODA loops. Google's latest offense in dropping TA in NA (or vice versa) seems to be producing paralyzing mental afflictions amongst the GIS blogging community. I'm reading post after post indicating confusion, discombobulation, and disorientation. When you understand the arduous effort involved in building a dataset that for years has been valuable, it's very confusing when a new entrant sees no value in it at all, but rather sees other value in something less familiar.
